Founded in 1997, Ersur Tekstil is one of the leading hand knitting producers in the world. The company is an affiliate of KARBEL GROUP OF COMPANIES which generally operates in textile industry. Karbel Group was ranked as the 180th company in the list of Turkey’s largest 500 importers in 2015. The main raw material used for manufacturing processes is high quality ecru and dyed acrylic fiber. Also, several types of pure wool and wool mixtures are used. It is also known for using high quality wool from South America and Australia which are highly popular in the market. In addition, the product range includes some luxury products which are South African Mohair and Peruvian Alpaca. Soft nylon, viscose, tweed and cotton fiber are other raw materials which are highly used for manufacturing processes.

The company has a high volume preparation line which supports a Spinning unit that can produce 30 tons or more yarns on a daily basis. The plants are capable of producing both worsted and semi-worsted yarns. In addition, fancy yarns are produced which are highly popular in Italian market as well as hand knitting yarns.

The plants have a total capacity of 35-40 tons/day thanks to G&W and Croon Lucke machines both of which are known to be among the best pinning machines in the world. The plants also comprise a Dyehouse in which Tow Dyeing, Hasp and Coil Dyeing, Smart Printing Hasp and Continuous Dyeing process. The company currently boasts of incorporating one of the largest capacities in a single plant in Europe with hasp dyeing of 12 tons, coil dyeing of 8 tons and tow dyeing of 5 tons. All those varieties are supported through full-fledged laboratories.
